Week 4 of the NFL starts with only two undefeated teams this season: Miami Dolphins for the American Conference, and Philadelphia Eagles for the National Conference. One of the teams was the betting favorite. The other pulled off the upset. Here you can check the Week 3 odds.
The team took advantage of the heat for Dolphins to burn the undefeated Buffalo Bills with a close score of 19-21. Buffalo had the win in their hands but failed to capitalize on their last offensive drive.
With the win, the Dolphins snapped a losing streak of seven consecutive losses to the Bills, and remained on top of the AFC East Division with three wins.
Buffalo controlled the clock for most of the game with long offensive drives in which they could eat up a lot of yards, but the Dolphin’s defense did the job in crunch time, preventing drives in the end zone.
The other undefeated team for Week 4 is the Eagles, who crushed Washington 8-24. It is worth noticing that all of Philadelphia’s 24 points were scored in the second quarter. Both teams were blanked in the first and third periods, and Washington scored in the last quarter.
Eagles totaled 400 yards to Washington’s 240. They were also superior in passing yards (328-153), as well as in yards per play (5.9-3.2), despite having less time of possession (32:54-27:06).
Week 4 kicks off with the Miami Dolphins visiting the Cincinnati Bengals, who defeated the New York Jets 12-27 on Sunday. The Bengals accumulated one win and two losses.
Eagles will host the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday afternoon. Jaguars took advantage of an offense that was always on and defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 10-38 on the road.

October 2 NFL Picks
On Sunday, matches will be played throughout the day, during the morning, afternoon and evening. Here are the most important picks of the day:
Jacksonville Jaguars at Philadelphia Eagles (Eagles -6.5)
The undefeated Eagles are the clear favorite for this game (Odds: 1.33) over their rival Jaguars (3.35).
The team’s defense played a dominant role, and was able to complicate Carson Wentz’s first-game performance against his former team. Philadelphia finished with nine catches, the most by any team so far this NFL season. More predictions for the 2022-2023 NFL Season at this link.
On the offense, the Eagles scored 24 points in the second quarter, allowing them to head into the second half of the game with some comfort. Jalen Hurts caught 22-of-35 passes for 340 total yards rushing and three touchdowns.
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders (Broncos +2)
Las Vegas Raiders failed to score in three weeks. They started the season with a defeat 24-19 against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 11.
A week later, they received the visit of Arizona Cardinals and lost at home with a final score of 23-29. In their last performance this Sunday, they lost by two points as visitors against Tennessee Titans by 24-22.
Despite this, bookmakers favors the Raiders, who will be playing in front of their home crowd in Las Vegas. The odds are 1.78 for the locals and 2.07 for Broncos. How do you have to bet? Here we explain.
Broncos, on the other hand, ended up giving one of the surprises of Sunday Night Football, getting an 11-10 win against the 49ers that looked like a clear winner of the game. Denver Broncos celebrated, thanks to the defensive work on the San Francisco passer.
Denver has revived thanks to a blunder by Garoppolo, who after being cornered in his end zone, did not realize how close he was to the end line, which he ended up stepping on, thus giving the rival two points with a safety.
Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens (Ravens +3.5)
Ravens (2-1) will have the difficult task of visiting one of the favorites to reach the Super Bowl: Buffalo Bills (2-1).
The Baltimore defeated the New England Patriots by 11 points (26-37) as visitors, taking the lead from the very first quarter, which ended 0-7.
In the second quarter, 13 goals by the home team against seven by the Ravens left the score 13-14 at halftime. The third period was 7-17 for Baltimore and the last quarter ended tied at six.
On the other hand, Bills failed to maintain their unbeaten record and lost 21-19 in their visit to the Miami Dolphins. Although, Buffalo took the lead in the third quarter with a field goal (17-14), a touchdown run by Chase Edmons gave Miami a 21-17 advantage.
Then, a safety gave the visitors two points to put the game to a definitive end. Now they will receive a Ravens with the obligation to fulfill the predictions, and take one more step towards their favoritism.
October 3 NFL Picks
Monday Night Football will have Los Angeles Rams (2-1) traveling to the San Francisco 49ers (1-2) at Levi’s Stadium.
Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers (49ers +2.5)
Last Sunday, the 49ers (1-2) and Broncos presented a poor job on offense. Poor offensive numbers to note. Both Jimmy Garoppolo and Russell Wilson were caught four times each. But in the end, the Broncos’ defense was decisive in winning the game.
Meanwhile, the Rams (2-1) defeated the Arizona Cardinals 12-20, winning the game in the first three quarters. All thanks to the 249 yards thrown by Matthew Stafford and a pair of touchdowns by Cam Akers and Cooper Kupp.
In this way, the Rams continue to dominate the series of rivals in the Western Division of the National Conference, winning 11 of the last 12 meetings played since 2017.
Is It Safe to Bet on the Bills?
No. In sports, nothing is a sure thing. But it is also true that whoever doesn’t risk doesn’t win.
Can the 49ERS Stay in Contention After Trent Williams’ Injury?
He’s considered the best left tackle in the league, and his replacement options (Jaylon Moore and Colton McKivitz) have just seven combined starts in their careers.
Will the Raiders Start Winning?
Since arriving in Las Vegas, head coach Josh McDaniels said the team needs to learn how to win. From 2000 to date, only one team that started the season 0-3 made the postseason: the Texans in 2018.
